Two international comedy mates catch up over the blower.
Earl Okin (in London) is an international comedian, cabaret performer, and musician who recorded his album at Abbey Road Studios during the height of the Swinging Sixties and has toured as an opening act for the likes of Van Morrison, Peggy Lee, and Paul McCartney and Wings. As one of the top legendary comedians on the London and European circuit, Earl always wows them with his fanciful mouth trumpet.
I met Earl in the summer of 1995 at The Comedy Cafe comedy club in Shoreditch, North London. Earl was kind of enough to personally introduce me to the London comedy scene, as well as educate me on the ever fascination London history. Earl was one the featured comedians on my show High On Laughter at The London Palladium.
Enjoy Episode 1, as Earl and I discuss the old neighborhood, social isolation, and a recent dust-up he had on social media.
